Maria Rosul

(Nee Oseredczuk) age 90, of Rocky River, passed away on February 26, 2021. She grew up in the Ukrainian village of Dovhe, one of four children born to Stephan (Deceased) Oseredczuk and Kateryna (Deceased) Kobilnyk. Loving wife of Joseph (Deceased). Beloved Mother of Roman, Alexander (Linda), and Emil (Deceased). Dear Baba (Grandmother) of Roman (Deceased), Alexandra (Deceased), Jessica, Lauren Jeffery (Kevin), and Alexander. Sister of Anna Slobodian and Theodore Oseredczuk.

She was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Maria Rosul was an avid gardener cultivating yearly crops of garlic and “big boy” tomatoes. She maintained large gardens, always sharing her harvest with her family and neighbors. She loved cooking traditional Ukrainian foods and maintaining family holiday traditions that she passed on to her sons and grandchildren. We love you and will miss you forever.

Family and friends received at HOLOWCHAK FUNERAL HOME; 5548 State Rd Parma OH 44134 on Monday, March 1, 2021, from 6:00-7:00 PM with Parastas at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 10:30 am at St Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral; 5720 State Road Parma, Ohio 44134, and open to the public. At the request of ALL, masks are required while attending mass and social distancing practices will be followed. Entombment at St Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
