We are sad to announce the death of Lesia Christine Buckingham (Nee Danko), who passed away on November 28, 2022, at Pleasant Lake Villa Nursing Home after a serious illness. She was 60 years old.
She is survived by her loving family Mother Vera Napora. Sister to Luba Cosner (Tony), and Nadia Johnson, Roman Danko, Ihor Danko (Olena) and Taras Napora (Tanya). Aunt to Denver, Damon, Adam, Paul, Max, Dan, Olesh, and Ivan. Great Aunt to Barrett, Wells and Sofia.
She will be missed very much, by so many for her active participation in the Ukrainian community and many events, giving generously of her time and efforts. Lesia was a beautiful, witty, kind and giving person. A friend to many and a real joy to be with.
Memorial Liturgy will be Saturday December 10, 2022, at 9:00 AM at Sts Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church; 2280 W. 7th St Cleveland, OH 44113. Reception in Church Hall after Services.
