John "Ivan" Zwarycz, 69 years old. Passed away at home on Friday April 5, 2019. Beloved Son to Mychajlo Zwarycz (deceased 2005) and Stefania Zwarycz (deceased 2019). Adored Brother to Mary O (Walter) Skoropys, Iryna (Ihor) Bohay, Julia (Jon) Loufman, Daria (Bohdan) Ficaj, Lesia (Jason), Myroslawa (Mark) Zarefoss. Loving Father “Tato” to Kristina (deceased), Stephanie (Matt) Winter, and Alexandra (Derek) Lambert. Cherished Grandfather “Dido” to Makayla, Daniel and Dylan. Wonderful Uncle to Michael L, Mark B, Andrew L, Larissa L, Natalie B, Justina Z, Daniel L, Nadeya Z, Nicholas B, Nicholas L, Oksana Z, Orion Z, and Michael Z. Many Family Members in Ukraine. Loved by Many Friends.

He Served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Reserves. He was an active member of the AFGE, Ukrainian American Youth Association CYM, TUCYM, and SUSTA. Also was a member of the Ukrainian American Veterans Association. He retired from the Social Security Administration.

Funeral Services Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Pokrova Ukrainian Catholic Parish; 6812 Broadview Rd., Parma, OH 44134 at 11 AM “PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.” Interment at Pokrova Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
